Storm doors, stained glass and our own colours

The joinery side of the business: made to order in our own workshop, and finished by our own family painter.

Hardwood storm doors, handmade

We make the storm doors ourselves: hardwood, double, handmade to order in our own workshop. The kind a sandstone front or a tenement flat needs, fitted with a new frame and a double-glazed number fanlight above.

UPVC storm doors

Black UPVC double storm doors as well: draught free, no maintenance, high-security locks, and no painting every year like timber.

A new door for old glass

A returning customer found a hundred-year-old acid-etched glass panel in her garden. It would have been in the original front door.

She asked us to make a new door to take it, and we did: the sage one, behind her green storm doors. We fit copy stained glass into outer and inner front doors too.

Our own colours

Jade, our daughter, is the family painter. She hand-finishes doors in Farrow & Ball, and they’re lacquered in our workshop before they come near your house.

We can do just about any colour you like: chartwell green, Agate, Almond, Farrow & Ball All White. And pink, if you want a pink door.
